Support local families by donating grocery store gift cards in $50 denominations (or any amount).

  • 💳 Accepted: Stop & Shop, ShopRite, Big Y, Aldi

  • 📍 Drop off locations at Fairfield Social Services, Fairfield Woods Library or Fairfield Main Library.

Today, 897 families in the Town of Fairfield currently receive SNAP benefits - 245 of these families are expected to lose SNAP under the changes under HR1 - equal to a 27% loss.

According to the most recent data, more than 516,000 people in Connecticut — roughly 1 in 7 residents — are food insecure, meaning they don’t always know where their next meal will come from. more than 37% of SNAP participants are in households that include an older adult (age 60+) or someone with a disability.
